It is estimated that people’s health is likely to go in a negative direction in the future more than it is now.
To start of, our health is related to various aspects which include our diet, physical activity and mental health. Firstly, in order to be healthy, people must follow a balanced diet which includes the seven food groups in the needed amounts for growth, energy and repair. It consists of fibres, fats, proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins and water. However, in today’s society, we are doing the complete opposite. Our lifestyle is based on oily and fatty dense foods which are the top contributers to heath issues such as cardiovascular diseases and obesity. Multiple studies show that eating in a healthy diet that includes clean and whole foods signifiantly improves the gut microbime which reduces inflammation and bloating. Moreover, they also stated that the rate of junk food intake is rising sharply and will most likely continue in that pattern in the future. Unfortunately, it does not just end here.
Another factor that will continue to affect people’s health is the lack of movement. In our modern society, doomscrolling on social media platforms is wasting our time and harming our health. Not only does it distract us from being active and incorporating different sports daily which is why people tend to gain weight, but it harms our brain and eye health tremendously. For that reason, eye doctors are informing people that there is a sudden surge in eye checkups more than ever before regarding people’s eye heath, which is due to the rapid increase in the use of electrical devices and lacking movement in the sunlight. Thus, our health is going downhill.
In conclusion, people’s health is on the edge of the line due to various factors that revolve around bad eating habits and the extremely low level of activity. That is why the average person’s health is likely to be lower in the future.
