Some people believe that the best way to ensure a happy family life for children is to make parents attend a parenting courses every year. I completely disagree with this idea.
Firstly, forcing mothers and fathers to take parenting courses can be time consuming and make pressure. They have to balance between work time and family time to attend parenting courses, that may create unnecessary pressure. Parenting is a personal experience, therefore instead of going parenting courses they can choose to learn it through their parents’ experiences and friend advice.
Secondly, happy family life depends on emotional connection rather than mandatory training. A loving environment, good communication, emotional bonding and spend quality time are important than theoretical knowledge. Many happy families in the world not have attend parenting class but their children still happy because they raise their children with love and care.
Finally, making parenting courses every year is unrealistic and costly. Not all family will have the conditions to attend this courses, especially in rural areas. Therefore, government can create optional workshop or online courses.
In conclusion, a happy family life is built on love and understanding rather than parenting strategies.
