In this fast-paced world, it is often argued that the efficient method to provide sufficient accommodation in big cities is to construct huge apartment buildings. I strongly agree with this opinion because this approach is a practical way to maximize space. This essay will discuss the main reasons for this view before presenting a reasoned conclusion.
Firstly, building tall apartment blocks is the best solution to the lack of space in large cities. The population of urban areas is increasing day by day because rural people are moving to large cities due to the facilities they can avail themselves of in cities. A number of people are homeless or bound to live their lives in very small houses that are shared with many family members. This scheme will help people to find a place where they can live with their families.
Another reason in favour of apartment blocks is cost. Unlike traditional houses, there is no need for separate land, as several flats are constructed on a single plot of land and buyers do not have to pay extra money for the land. As a result, people can own a property for a smaller amount of money. For example, in Pakistan, it is not possible for people to purchase a home due to high prices. People now tend to move to flats because they are cost-effective.
In conclusion, I completely believe that flats are a reasonable solution for providing homes to a large number of people. They make efficient use of limited land and also facilitate individuals who earn less.
