Band 4+: The chart below shows the number of men and women (in thousand) in further education in Britain in three periods and whether they were studying full-time or part-time.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

The bar chart illustrates the amount of male and female in full-time and part-time education in Britain in three periods.

Overall, it can be seen that the illustration displays the amount of two genders in two types of education in Britain in 1970-71, 1980-81, 1990-91.

To begin with,both male and female had gradually increased in a full-time education and both of them had the same peak,which accounted for just above 200k in 1990-1991. The initial point of men was a little more than 100k in the first period, but it has grown for around 20k in 10years. While the commencement point of women was just under than 100k and increased almost threefold in 10 years.

Additionally, the number of women in a part-time education had steadily increased. It was beginning from just beneath 800k in the first year and had dipped until approximately 1.1million, where reached out its peak. While the number of men had marginally fluctuated. In the first year, it has its peak-1million and then dramatically decreased until around 850k, which was its the lowest point. The final point was roughly 900k in the third period.
