The possible way to prepare ourselves for such kind of situation is to learn various skills and does not depend on a single skill factor. An individual carrying multiple skill would find it easy to change the job in case the situation arises. Moreover, employees should be provided with proper training and facilities to work from anywhere around the globe.
All and all, the world is dynamic and fast changing which is difficult to predict. Hence, the change cannot be avoided, but it can be handled with ease if we expand our skills into different sectors.
