In these days, more and more main cities suffer from noise pollutions. This is mainly because the heavy traffic and overcrowded streets. There are a number of solutions which should be implemented to deal with these problems. Such as, the encouraging the use of electric cars and making cities greener with trees.
On the one hand, there are underlying reasons behind high noise level in cities. The main is heavy traffic on the city roads. Cities always face a considerable number of cars which are often with petrol based engines and cause noise distorbance. In addition, car horns and signals contribute significantly to these levels. Another noticeable factor for noice pollution in cities is overcrowding in the public places. The higher number of people can produce more noise in the public places.
On the other hand, there are two effective solutions to eliminate this problem. One of the most major solutions to tackle the issue is intorduction of electric cars for city dwellers. Electic cars that run on batteries do not generally produce noise due to lack of fuel-burining engines. If drivers rely on such type of automobiles, cities would be much quieter. Moreover, another common remedy is planting trees around cities. In fact, trees have a feature to absorb noise and it could be reduce noise level of cities.
In consluion, the major reasons, why cities face noise pollution is that the high number of cars on roads and overpopulation. Nevertheless, this issue can be reslolved by making electic cars more common and turning cities much greener.
