Today, everyone’s got used to online shopping. It saves time and sometimes money. However the physical stores haven’t gone and people still use them. For sure, both ways have pros and cons and below I share my own thoughts and also explain which side I am on.
First I’d like to discuss some advantages which the internet brought for buyers. The price: today in electronic stores you may buy almost everything and it would be cheaper than similar items offline. One of the reasons is the cost of running a business – internet markets usually don’t have offline showrooms, multiple consultants working there, they don’t face theft and regular inspections from various safety-departments. All of these makes it possible to cut added value of each item traded. However no showrooms sometimes make it not able to properly evaluate the thing before buying.
On the other hand, offline has its own advantages. Have you ever tried to buy pants or shirts online? For sure you can do it, but it is not a rare situation when bought online closing doesn’t fit. And typically it’s ok – you can return it cause you have a pretty obvious reason. But what if,let’s say, the boots, even though they’re the right size, don’t match your expectations because of the poor quality of materials of colors which don’t look like the photos made under studio lights. Another entirely offline subject is parfum. Who risks buying a new bottle for his wife for an enormous price knowing that it may not be liked.
While both ways of shopping have their own benefits, I tend to go more online. With some exceptions like clothes or perfumes, I definitely choose the easier, faster and cheaper purchasing stuff online.
