In the contemporary world, there has been a growing trend of cosmetics and plastic surgery. A large section of society has spent huge amount of money on their appearance because of their expectation to look younger themselves. Though there are some social and psychological reasons for this happening, I firmly believe that it is a negative development for individuals and society.

The primary reason is that is a number of individuals represent themselves with a elegant appearance for their psychological need. Because, they fell a different kind of satisfaction when they look charming. For Instance, a compelling evidence is that an interview, where a South Korean women acknowledged that she spent 1.5 million dollars on cosmetic surgery just due to it assist to look visually appealing and gives a strong satisfaction on her heart. Another reason is that some people receive a lot of appreciation and various advantageous facilities for their stunning appearance. By inspired to seeing those and for taking additional benefits from bosses or managers in professional sectors, they made an intrinsic tendency to physical attractiveness.

However, it has some adverse effect on society and individuals, for which it considered as a negative development. Firstly, it may create long-term social inequality. For instance, if students in school judged by their impressive appearance, other students who do not have appealing look may not receive equal attention from teachers. As a result, a significant disparity can destroy a structured and focused educational environment. In addition, excessive use of cosmetics products and artificial surgery can highly damage their skin tone. Some famous actress, for example, lose their natural beauty after completing plastic surgery, which can be called a negative development for them.

In conclusion, the growing tendency of use cosmetic goods and surgery is happened for receive some logical satisfaction, whereas its detrimental effects for both society and people is far more than that which leads it s a negative development.
