People have always been watching an influence of music and sports celebrities on the younger generation, however, the state that famous stars are closer to the youth than their family is debated more frequently in recent years. In my opinion, the celebrities have greater influence on the young people, because the latter want to be like successful stars more than their ordinary relatives.
As for parents, an influence of individuals raising child are more inconspicuous, because they constantly introduce concepts and beliefs, regardless of trends and fashion. A similar reason applies to teachers as well. They are present with children during the period when their character and worldview are forming.
In contrast, an influence of stars is more prominent, for example, there are entire generations where women dress like Britney Spears, and men do their hair like famous football players; many of the characters in TV shows and games are based on celebrities. Due to the widespread use of media and social networks, people see stars more often, follow their success, and start taking inspiration from them in order to get even slightly closer to the top. Additionally, children usually choose the star, who they want to be like, and and the qualities they want to develop in themselves, unlike parents and teachers.
In conclusion, although I cannot deny the influence of parents and teachers on the younger generation, I consider that in recent years, the influence of celebrities has surpassed it. This guilt social networks and comparison with others, and that young people do not believe that simple support of their relatives is enough to achieve success.
