Different firms have their own system and guidelines for workers, they often provide employees various ways to work, giving them more flexibility and choices. Many companies make it possible that workers can organize and fulfill duties at their home – without the need to head toward office. Ostensibly, big cooperation advocates this type of work, which is engrossing for most people.
In my point of view, though, it is a completely new approach compared to the conservative way, the pros exceed the cons.
First, when employees can work at home, they have more time for other activities and interests, saving time rather than sitting prolonged time for driving to office, increasing the chance to cause back problems. Instead, individuals are exempted from that, giving them the prospect to exercise more. For example, having a morning walk through the park or gym session with their friends, which in turn, can increases their health and eventually benefiting the company’s efficiency and worker’s quality of life.
Secondly, workers can spend this time with social meetings and fostering stronger relationships. People who had families can bring more time with their kids, increasing a stronger bond with each other will facilitate the mental state of one’s person, many workers often find themselves to work over time in their office – sometimes going home very late at night. This can let families repel each other, driving a wedge between them. Ultimately, remote work is assuredly a means to an end.
In conclusion, even though it may raises the question whether it is effective enough to implement this type of work in terms of the company’s advantage and long term aim, it certainly can give employee more opportunities.
