Band 5+: Today, many people do not know their neighbors in large cities. What problems does this cause? What can be done about this? Write at least 250 words.

Nowadays, most people do not know their neighbors in urban areas. This can lead to disrespectful relationships and missunderstanding between neighbors. To tackle this issue, people shoud set up many groups with their neighbors to discuss and figure out with current problems.

The main problem caused by this situation is the lack of trust and respect. When people do not know who lives in the next door, they all become more careful do not trust because they do not know what person lives next to other neighbor. For example, if individuals know their neighbors, they will trust and respect them because they say hello every day and communicate. Another issue is that unknown neighbors will not understand each other because of distrust and disrespect. Where people do not understand each other, there are always fights or hatred. For example, if society protects other neighbours and always agrees with each other, they would be friendlier and help in difficult moments.

To solve these problems, creating neighbor groups is an excellent step. Residents can use mobile apps like Whatsapp or Telegram to make a chats for their building. In these groups, they can discuss daily issues, organize cleaning days, share important news and figure out with problems online.

In conclusion, not knowing heighbors affects on relationships and creates a lot of disrespect, and leads to lack of understanding. However, citizens can combat this problem by adding groups among neighbors to deciding a lot of issues and organizations easily and more friendly.
