In today’s world, society has been faced with some issues which are not acceptable to the public even if they are some disrespectful behaviours. I believe exploring the causes of this problem can assist in finding suitable solutions to address this issue.
To begin with, from an educational viewpoint, a lack of education at an early age could partly account for these anti-social behaviours. In addition, what children need is to be taught to be polite and respect others’ opinions. Additionally, the other reason is that our living costs have increased significantly. This means that compared to last decade, we must work longer hours to earn enough money to raise our family or avoid being fired, causing employees to be under high competition and work pressure. As a result, people who cannot handle these bad emotions do some anti-social things to make themselves happy and release their work pressure. Moreover, another reason is that with the development of the Internet, people can comment on the latest news through real-time communication. For example, they can comment on people’s posts, such as Facebook and Instagram, without any expense.
One effective way to solve this phenomenon is that the government should train teachers to act as role models for the youngsters. The second step is the government’s responsibility to implement laws requiring every employee to have enough rest time, putting them in a better mood. Also, people who do anti-social things should be punished. The last measure is that software managers should monitor and restrict user behaviors.
In conclusion, the increase in living costs and the development of real-time communication are two reasons why the number of anti-social behaviors has increased and people have lost respect. In the future, we should take many effective measures to handle these problems.
