There is no denying the fact that children will cooperate as team spots at school. While it is also a commonly held belief that children working as a sports team will have the same goal and motivation to cooperate, there is also an argument that they can help and cooperate regardless of the kind of activity. This essay will discuss the two points and express my opinion.
On one hand, since sports is an entertaining activity and require teamwork to compete and win. In other words, group sports enhance teamwork since all members are equally important and will be accounted. In addition, the spirit of sports increases the chance of cooperation, especially in children. For example, football, basketball and volleyball all necessitate team work toward the same goal.
On the other hand, some believe that teaching of kids can be done through numerous methods, not only sports. It is also possible to say that children can learn through tell, show and do, where they are first told what to do, then show them how to do, then ask them to do what they learn. Moreover, children cooperate through prizing and motivation where they are given certain tasks and have to accomplish to be rewarded then.
In conclusion, there is no easy answer to this question, On balance, however, I tend to believe that sports play a significant role in teaching youngers how to cooperate where it is considered fun as well as all individuals have the duty to work as a team.
