It is often argued that moving workplaces to countryside could be an effective measure for urban problems, such as traffic congestion and housing challenges. Although tranferring large work buildings to other areas could be a solution for some issues, I strongly disagree with the idea that these facilities could be moved to villages.
One of the main reason I disagree with the statement is that those places could distract local people’s lifes. The society in villages are mostly adapted to the calm environment, fresh air and clean nature. In most cases, they adjust their works to the lifestyle in there. For example, citizens’ income is from the planting areas, farming and fishing. The water emitted from factories could kill the fishes in rivers and lakes. Consequently, it will damage not only nature, but also locals’ jobs.
Moreover, it would also affect lifestyles of employees of companies and factories , as their routines and even residental areas may change. Coworkers of the companies moved to rural areas have to commute from cities to countryside everyday. It is neither budget-friendly nor easy. As the result, this could lead to unemployment and companies losing their reputations.
In conclusion, I don’t agree with the idea that workplaces and industries should be transferred to countrysides, because it would disturb the not only the lifestyle of local people, but also employees of such companies.
