For instance, USA has reserves and resources that can last up to100 years and it continues to provide assistance to countries affected from those tragedies and yet it still has the highest economy in the world.
Funding countries subjected to earthquakes or Tsunami and assisting them to overcome the aftermath of those tragic incidents makes a country more likeable. It builds diplomatic relationships that can benefit them in diverse ways. It develops a distinguished reputation about the leader and citizens of the country as well. For example, United States offers the most Humanitarian assistance in the world, it helps countries facing natural disasters and it is one the factors that makes the US have so many strong diplomatic relations with other nations.
