At the present time, there is a statement that richest states have to help poorer nations with the humanitarian support during the natural catastrophes. I am partially agree with this position, and in this topic, I will try to explain my own point of view with the illustrative examples.
Indeed, if in one of the places in the world will occur a natural disaster like tornado, tsunami, wood fire or flooding all nations, including the wealthy ones, must assist with the available forces and equipment. I faithfully believe that all population on the Earth are brothers and sisters, which should protect each other in extremely danger and hopeless situations. Nature disasters can destroy the main infrastructure objects in the large area, where civilians lost their homes and property. For poor nation consequences like this is a beginning point for despair, for country economic recession and crisis without a possibility for restoring. In 26th of April 1966, it was a great earthquake in my home city Tashkent, when thousands of people lost their housings. With the humanitarian help of USSR only for several month it were build new districts with a hundred many floor houses.
On the other hand, there is no any document, according to which wealthy nations have to assist poorer countries with humanitarian relief in emergencies. In this case, we can give a question: «Why the richest part of our planet must provide help for others»? After all, it is not the rich’s fault that the others are poor. Developing country’s governments should predict the possible nature disasters and create an effective systems and methods for decreasing the consequences from them. As a striking example would be a wood fire in Greece in 2001, when authorities take under control disaster be themselves.
In conclusion, I would like to emphases my opinion, according to which giving a support in natural catastrophes is a great help from economical developed states, with this every right thinking authority center should take a part in improving measures to eliminate the consequences of natural disasters.
