Band 7+: why people are increasingly interested in the history of their homes and how they can research it.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In some international countries, many people are becoming interested in exploring the history of the accommodation they live in, such as houses or buildings.

First and foremost, it is easy to understand that opinion because some old houses may also have hidden secrets. For example, they can contain ghosts or unexpected deaths related to previous owners. In my opinion, this information should be made clear for the next renters because it greatly affects their daily life. In some cases that I have seen in movies, the rituals of those houses can make the owners feel stressed. Gradually, the renters can suffer the same death, or the ghosts can obsess them to do something foolish. Consequently, for people who have spiritual sensitivity, this can cause serious problems, leading to further deaths, which can affect the reputation of that renowned house or building.

Secondly, from a positive aspect, they may simply want to know about all the convenient facilities that the building or house has. This can help them research how to use modern appliances before coming to the house on the official day. For instance, if the house lacks some necessary items, they can add them at the same time, such as sinks, sofas, or some plants if they want to improve their living environment. For another reason, they want to know what was previously used in their house, and whether there were any damages or struggles with things like the walls or the ceiling
