In modern days, people get interested in what makes a living and is able to bring high finance or revenue to their lives. In many countries, there are more people of young age who choose to join work-based training instead of attending university. In this essay, I will demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of this raised topic.

To begin with, having a vocational training increase the skills needed for the applied job in case it doesn’t mandate a higher degree of education. A company might seek applicants for its own requirements and grab the attention of a young person without the need of university degree. Moreover, the merit in which a young applicant finds is however related to financial needs and therefore they don’t get to attend university. Furthermore, some companies offer apprenticeship to fully allow the recruiter to indulge into their business. For example, a person has 18 years of age looks has to choose between adding a degree to his CV or work at a company that accepts a type of training related to required job. Therefore, work-based training is an opportunity for certain young employees.

On contrary, tertiary education is a crucial stage in the majority of young students. Although university education has one major, people with high degree can work at any company that just request a higher education with indefinite major or section. Additionally, a fully educated can apply to the same job that the other person applied but with higher wage offer. Thus, university degree can provide variety of golden options related to many careers.

To conclude, although work-based training give a chance to a young person to work at a young age, university education can give a wide options of job titles and types. Learners should be aware of the requirements of the future without looking at what they currently have.
