Music has been an integral part of human life for centuries and is still one of the most popular types of entertainment with various kinds of it existing across the globe. Everywhere, people have to listen to music as it is a source of enjoyment and motivation, and I am of the opinion that local music has greater essence due to two key reasons.
One of the most significant role music can play in one’s life is that it can enable them to have much more fun. It can boost people’s mood, thus contributing to their overall well-being. It is so powerful that when they listen to it, they are able to bring back memories that they have forgotten a long time ago. Music can also be motivating sometimes for some genres encourage people to work harder to achieve their goals. Athletes, for example, can constantly do workout even without having rest thanks to music. This is a driving force for them and urges them to never ever give up.
The music citizens of a particular country have been listening to traditionally is much more valuable than that is on the trend on a global level. Firstly, music by a local singers in the country expresses people’s feelings and mentality there. In other words, it encourages the people living in that area to love their country in addition to teaching them how to behave to some extent. Furthermore, traditional music is a great way of bring people together into a community. The reason for this is that if people have something in common like shared country music, they tend to communicate with one another more. Take two fans of a traditional song in a festival, for example. They may eventually make friends with each other after discussing about that song.
In conclusion, music is loved everywhere because of the enjoyable experience it offers and its motivating feature as well. Local music, to my mind, plays a vital role in one’s life in terms of creating a community and educational value of love towards their country.
