In my point of view, it depends on what kind of things we are talking about. If we talk about students from school, it would be beneficial for them to study more academic subjects in order to fulfill their general theoretical knowledge. And only after that choose their most pleasant subject that they would involve in their career. However, if we talk about students from universities, it would be a positive development for them to put greater emphasis on practical subjects, rather than on theoretical ones, because through hands-on subjects, they could gain more experience for their adulthood, in order to enhance their chances to stand out from other applicants when they will apply for a job.
