  1. Rakan Alrasheedi says:

Science has always played an important role in human development, and it continues to shape the modern world. Some people believe that the main aim of science should be to improve people’s lives, while others argue that it has wider purposes. In my opinion, although science should focus on helping humanity, it should not be limited to this single goal.

On the one hand, improving people’s lives is one of the most important functions of science. Many scientific discoveries have made life easier, safer, and more comfortable. For example, progress in medicine has allowed doctors to treat serious diseases and increase life expectancy in many countries. In addition, technological developments such as the internet and smartphones have made communication faster and more convenient. People can now work, study, and connect with others more easily than in the past. These examples clearly show that science has a direct and positive impact on people’s daily lives.

On the other hand, focusing only on practical benefits may limit scientific progress in the long term. Some important discoveries were not created with the aim of improving lives immediately, but they later became extremely useful. For instance, early research in physics seemed theoretical at first, yet it eventually led to many modern technologies. Furthermore, science also aims to understand the natural world and the universe, which is valuable even without immediate practical results. Therefore, restricting science to one main purpose could reduce creativity and slow down innovation.

In conclusion, while improving people’s lives should be a major aim of science, it is also essential to allow scientists the freedom to explore new ideas. A balance between practical goals and curiosity-driven research can lead to greater progress in the future.

We live in the age of science and technology. In recent years, science has made our lives more advanced and developed. Science can be used for creation and devastation; it totally depends on how it is used. I completely agree that science should be aimed at improving people’s lives rather than using it to harm the environment.

To commence with, science has invented many fruitful products, and it has become a boon to all mankind; it has completely changed our lives. For instance, science has made transportation easier and faster; now anyone can easily travel from one part to another part of the world. Medical science has extended life expectancy.

The main goal of science should be to assist people because science could also be used to harm the environment. For instance, nuclear power is a great achievement of science; it can be used to produce electricity; moreover, it can replace natural resources such as fossil fuels, which are running out. On the other hand, the same energy has been used to produce nuclear weapons that are extremely dangerous and can destroy a country within a second; moreover, its harmful effects can last for years. In the modern world, most countries use it as a deterrent. Hence, science should be used to evolve public lives.

In conclusion, science has a great power of creation, and it has changed our life completely; it has made impossible things possible, but the main concern is that it should be used to make people’s lives comfortable and convenient, because it is capable of destroying all mankind in a second if it is used with bad intentions. I completely agree with this view that science should be aimed at improving people’s lives. 7.5 bands

With the advancement of science and technology, including the invention of artificial intelligence, everything is changing rapidly. The issue of whether the aim of science should be to improve people’s lives sparks considerable debate. I totally agree that it should, because without people, there is nothing.

On the one hand, science is evolving day by day, and there are so many innovations in science that are modernizing the global world. With this alteration, jobs are changing as well. Five to six decades ago, there was no concept of online classes or online meetings, but nowadays, people can connect to other people via the internet. Even students can take their online classes from home. Because of science, work has become easier, and people who are more technical rather than relying on hard work are preferred more in the modern world.

On the other hand, there are still a number of people who don’t know about science and even resist using technology in their lives because they don’t want change. The ratio of those people is low, but they still exist. They are mostly older people. I think if they followed and allowed science and technology in their lives, their lives would become easier. For instance, they don’t prefer to use touchscreen mobiles; they still use keypad mobiles and don’t have any idea about the internet, social media, etc.

In conclusion, science is a very important aspect of our lives and makes people’s lives easier day by day. Therefore, I totally agree that it should improve people’s lives, as it is already doing.

In recent years, there has been rapid development in science. Some people argue that the fundamental purpose of science should be to improve people’s well-being. This essay will explain the extent to which I agree with this view.

On the one hand, science has many benefits for people’s lives. This can be explained by the fact that science is a primary source of numerous discoveries that have been proven to enhance living standards in almost every sector, such as medicine, agriculture, education, and even the military. For instance, advances in medical science have led to the development of more effective treatments, allowing patients to live longer and healthier lives. In addition, in the field of education, scientific innovation such as artificial intelligence helps many students access information more easily and supports the learning process.

On the other hand, science can be misused when it is driven by unethical intentions. In some cases, scientific knowledge may be exploited for personal or commercial gain without considering its negative consequences. For example, certain technologies can be used to create harmful substances or weapons, which pose serious risks to public safety. Such misuse clearly contradicts the idea that science should serve humanity.

In conclusion, science offers significant benefits for human well-being; however, it can also be dangerous if used irresponsibly. Therefore, scientific development should always aim to enhance human lives and be guided by ethical principles.

  6. alfiyatullaelim says:

In recent years, scientific advancements have become increasingly prominent in almost every aspect of human life. Some people argue that the primary aim of science should be to improve every aspect of human lives. I strongly agree with this view.

The main reason for my agreement is that medical science has played a crucial role in improving human survival rates. Scientific developments such as vaccines have helped prevent many deadly illnesses. For instance, global life expectancy has increased significantly after the rapid development of COVID-19 vaccines. If there had been a delay in this research, the world might have continued to suffer severe health and economic consequences. This clearly demonstrates how science contributes to increasing human lifespan.

Another reason is that scientific progress improves not only how long people live, but also their quality of life. Having a longer lifespan does not necessarily mean living well. There are many countries that have ageing populations, which increase pressure on their healthcare systems. Nonetheless, the recent progress in medical technology allows people to remain healthier and more independent as they age. For example, the innovation of medical devices, such as assistance mobility scooters, allows senior people to buy their own groceries around the shopping center independently. As a result, the older generation can still be active and mentally capable to have autonomy in their daily lives. This is proof that scientific breakthroughs in a health sector help enhance overall human well-being.

In conclusion, science successfully extends human lifespan. However, scientific advancements must also enhance people’s quality of life. Thus, it is prominent for science to aim to improve people’s lives.

  7. Shela says:

Some people believe that science should focus on improving human lives rather than doing unimportant things. From my point of view, I agree with that statement.

To begin with, it is undoubtedly true that some other scientific research that is not directly related to human lives is also beneficial. Some scientists are funded to study other subjects. For example, NASA primarily focuses on space research. They put much effort into finding other life on other planets. The reason might be because of their assumption that aliens from outer space are more technologically advanced than humans on Earth. If they can find aliens, then it might have a positive impact on human life. As a result, they try many things to explore outer space, which might have an indirect impact on humans.

Having said that, there are many fields that have a direct impact on people’s lives. First, studying human health or other related subjects gives more opportunities to increase human longevity. This is because, from that research, they will find new discoveries that can cure or prevent diseases in society. To illustrate, many researchers try to find medicine to cure cancer in humans. Consequently, human health will improve, as well as their quality of life. In addition, another scientific field that can enhance the quality of society’s lives is education. If there are many strategies that academia can use to educate people or find an easy way to deliver their knowledge to the young generation, our world would become better, as well as human well-being. In consequence, more and more people will achieve equality, and their quality of life will improve.

To sum up, nowadays, some people argue that the aim of science should focus on human well-being. In my opinion, I completely agree with that statement.

  8. Mahfuz says:

The debate surrounding the aim of science is a significant one. Some people assert that the key purpose of science should be pursuit of pure knowledge. I firmly agree with the notion that science’s primary objective should be alleviating suffering and betterment of human existence .

First and Foremost, The most profound contribution science can make is to preserve human life. Throughout the history, science breakthroughs in medical sector cannot be ignored. Science has been protecting us from many disasterous diseases. For instance, the eradication of smallpox and the rapid development of COVID-19 vaccines have proven that without science innovation human life cannot survive such catastrophes. Therefore, prioritizing the improvements in health is not only aim, but also fundamental. If science ignores such practical applications and prioritizing abstract theories, then it will lead human beings to suffer.

Another significant aspect of science ought to, making people’s lives better and convenient. Firstly, all modern technologies are the blessing of science starting from electric grid to natural gas supply all are the outcome of science. Secondly, science innovation in agriculture sector such as genetic modification of plants and advancements in biotechnology have allowed us to feed worlds growing population. Thirdly, all the communication gadgets those have been helping us to bridge the geographical divides are also the consequence of science.

In conclusion, although adapting the knowledge of science is vital, we should allocate more attention in practical uses that make people’s life easier and streamlined. By, prioritizing medical developments that secure our survival and advancement is technologies that make our life comfortable and buy us the time to be productive.

  9. Mahmood Muthanna says:

There is no denying the fact that science has become one of the most debated issues in recent years. While some people believe that science should be used in favor of humans, others think the opposite. However, I firmly agree that science should improve the quality of people’s lives because it plays a crucial role in shaping individuals’ lives and promoting progress within communities.

To begin with, science should be utilised in enhancing productivity in societies, and it is an essential step that cannot be overlooked. In other words, it should be implemented in factories to create advanced machines, equipped with new technologies, which help countries advance further. In addition, science has far-reaching consequences in producing modern medicine for chronic diseases. For example, modern nations often export high-quality medications to the world, due to their medical advancement.

Another point to consider is that science boosts knowledge to construct high-end labs to meet a community’s needs, as they help advance research in a variety of fields. Moreover, science improves vehicle development, such as manufacturing new cars, planes, and trains to facilitate transportation worldwide. To illustrate this, people can now travel faster and safer than before, due to the cutting-edge planes and cars.

In conclusion, despite people having different views regarding science, I strongly believe that science should be used to help people and countries, as it not only ensures better outcomes for individuals but also minimises the negative effects of old-fashioned ways of living.

  10. Dhafir AL-jazairi says:

There is no denying the fact that the aim of science should be to improve people’s lives. While it is a commonly held belief that the primary objective of science is to improve people’s quality of life, there is also an argument that opposes it. In my opinion, I completely agree that the aim of science should be to improve people’s lives.

To begin with, scientific discoveries, in other words, the more scientific discoveries mean development in people’s lives. In addition, discoveries in the field of sustainable energy, for example, solar energy power.

Another point to consider is advancement in the era of artificial intelligence. It is also possible to say that scientific laboratories generate innovative ideas and modern discoveries, especially when they are well funded by governments. Moreover, coordinating people’s basic needs with environmental sustainability by leveraging advancements in artificial intelligence to protect our planet from pollution, for instance, electric vehicles.

In conclusion, although some people believe that science can have harmful effects if misused, I strongly believe that its main aim should always be to improve people’s lives. Scientific progress, when guided responsibly, leads to better health, environmental protection, and overall human well-being. Therefore, science should continue to focus on serving humanity and creating a sustainable future for coming generations. While opinions may vary, I am convinced that the fundamental purpose of science should be to enhance human life, as scientific progress contributes significantly to social development, environmental protection, and long-term sustainability. I strongly believe that science should primarily focus on improving people’s lives by supporting technological development, environmental sustainability, and overall human well-being.
