There are two reasons why some people choose local travel over traveling abroad. One of those reasons is the familiarity of the areas they travel to. Compared to trips abroad, where everything from customs to food is new to discover and learn, traveling to local cities or other tourist destinations in their own country provides them with fewer concerns and gives them a chance to spend their time enjoyably without any pressure to learn new things. Cost-effectiveness is also one of the notable benefits of traveling within their own country. These travelers do not need to book flights, hotels, or special guides, and they already understand their economic conditions. This way, they can travel very cheaply compared to traveling abroad.
