When it comes to a natural disaster in my country, the one that crossed my mind immediately is the flooding. Just last month, my country faced this calamity because it was unexpected. It resulted from intense rain and a typhoon heightening the levels of water. The flooding caused some villages to submerge and made it difficult for the rescue team to reach them. The consequences of this calamity are devastating. Many lives were lost, and it also damaged agricultural infrastructure and residential homes. Through this natural disaster, I remember vividly that I came across some media coverage about families confronting the flooding and the efforts of the rescue team, which left a lasting impression on me. Through these calamities, I am aware of the importance of protecting our planet and raising awareness about natural effects in my country.
