I can’t say that I faced a lot of technological problems, but the one I clearly remember happened a couple of months ago. I had a very important interview with my admissions counselor as a part of college applications in the US universities. I was fully prepared, I was sitting at my table in my apartment, rereading my notes I took about my owners, extracurricular activities and zones of work. And suddenly, 10 minutes before the meeting, my mobile internet got cut off. It was a huge problem for me because I didn’t have a Wi-Fi at my home and I started fantastically calling my mobile internet provider in order to find out what can I do, maybe it was a payment issue or like what I wanted to know what went wrong and how to fix this. out that the problem was on their side and they said that they would fix it within the next couple of hours, which was very unfortunate since I had an interview in 10 minutes. I couldn’t really help them to solve this problem because I lacked credibility, technical skills, I didn’t even work for their company, obviously. So the only thing I could do is to dress up as quickly as I can and run towards the nearest supermarket with a free Wi-Fi. I did, so I did it on time and I had an interview. It went really well. I explained an issue with the internet I had to my interviewer, a very sweet lady who I think understood me and she didn’t seem to be angry at my background noises because supermarkets are very noisy and there were a lot of people, a lot of music I think that it was one of the most challenging problems because my anxiety suddenly sparked before the most important interview in my life. And I’m glad I managed to solve this.
