Recently, I had a very important meeting with my admissions counselor as part of my college applications. I was fully prepared. At that time, I was sitting at my table in my apartment, reading some notes I took, listing my honors, extracurricular activities, things I wanted to mention, and so on and so forth. I was fully relaxed until I wasn't, because 10 minutes before my interview my mobile internet got cut off. My anxiety spiked. I was so nervous. I was panicking. And I didn't understand what to do. I called my mobile internet provider. They said that they had some kind of technical issue on their side and that they would fix it within the next two hours. I was very devastated. I couldn't help them to solve this technical issue as they lack credibility, necessary skills. And I don't work for this company, obviously. So the only way I could solve this problem is to find a free Wi-Fi spot near me. I got dressed up really quickly and ran as fast as I could to the nearest supermarket where I knew they had a free Wi-Fi spot. I was correct and I managed to complete my mission within 10 minutes. And it wasn't late for my interview for which I was very thankful to all gods I prayed in the moment. As I mentioned, this interview was an essential part of my application and I didn't want to give a bad first impression to my counselor. She was a very sweet lady and she... I explained the situation to her and she understood why I'm meeting with her from the supermarket with all the noise around. There were a lot of people thinking around and there was music playing in the background. So overall, despite this, it was a very successful interview. I'm very glad I made it.
