I've always considered myself to have strong opinions. I have a perspective on everything. However, I met someone who truly challenged my perception of what it meant to be opinionated. I'm talking about Sardar, a person I met when I had to switch schools five years ago. It was a difficult transition, but meeting Sardar made it a little easier. I've never encountered anyone with such strong opinions on every subject. It became apparent during a class discussion when the teacher posed a question. Only Sardar and I raised our hands. I was confident because I had a lot of information on the topic, but then I heard Sardar's answer. It sparked a friendly competition between us that lasted about 20 minutes. Sardar became quite animated when the teacher said she liked both our answers. He insisted that his answer was the best and even asked other classmates if they thought his answer was better than mine. To end the discussion, I simply agreed that his answer was better. I respect Sardar's strong opinions and find him to be a very intelligent person. In fact, he's one of my closest friends now. However, he doesn't like it when people question his opinions. He always insists that his answers are the best and strongest.
