I have been to a local market in Sapa, where I visited about two or three years ago. At that time, I had never been to Sapa before, so I was really eager. It was nice before the trip; I hardly slept. The reason my family chose Sapa to visit is that it is the only place in my country, in my tropical city, where it snows, which is quite a contrast to where I live. When we got there, we also had the opportunity to visit a local market. The first thing worth mentioning is that the local market offered a wide range of goods, from fresh ingredients to clothes, ornaments, and handicrafts. All of them, I would say, were good bargains. I even bought handicrafts with intricate tribal patterns, which I still keep to this day. While I was walking around, looking at many stalls, I saw an influx of locals wearing their traditional attire, which was really colorful. Their clothes really brightened up the atmosphere there.
