I often believe that honesty is the best policy among friendships. We have to share the truth with them even if it is very uncomfortable or even if it ruins our friendship. So today, I would like to share an incident when I shared a very uncomfortable truth with my best friend. This was about her boyfriend's loyalty. At first, I thought of not sharing this with her because it could ruin her relationship, or she might call me out for telling her, thinking that it was a bit harsh. One day, while I was in class, one of my classmates told me that her boyfriend was messaging my classmates at night. I went back to my hostel and called her, saying I had to tell her something that wasn't good. She asked me to tell her what was going on, and I explained about the messages. At first, she didn't believe me; she didn't trust me. Then I showed her the evidence, and she realized that her boyfriend was cheating on her. I felt it was important to share this truth with her because she is my best friend, and she deserves a better, more loyal person as her boyfriend. If I hadn't shared this with her, I would still feel very guilty even today.
