Well, I’m going to talk about a seal which is um, a very widespread animal in Russia. Uh, it’s quite big in size, gray in color, uh, has no fur, at least no visible fur. Uh, and very. A very smooth shape of body which allows it to swim. So it’s a, ah, water mammal. And uh, leaves, uh, both in freshwater and in salt water. Uh, usually you can find a seal, uh, around uh, lake like the baiky lake, for example, and on different sea, uh, coasts. Both, uh, in the northern part of Russia, uh, in the western part of Russia and in the east, people uh, admire seals because they are sociable, cute, attractive for sure, funny enough. But also at the same time, uh, the citizens of Russian feel quite anxious and um, worried about seals because uh, these species is on the verge of extinction because of the water pollution and some ecological problems like uh, slightly rising temperature. Uh, and I um, love watching seals in the wild nature. But at the same time I agree with those people who are worried about their um, uh, number, the declining number. And I guess there must be some measures must be taken in order to save the species, in order to preserve them. Uh, I guess it’s possible as long as, uh, people unite the actions and act together, uh, for the common goal.
