However, they rarely attack people proactively. As a type of nocturnal animal, they slither fast on grass than road. Some people may find it horrible. Terrifying. However, people can take advantage of this because they tackle household issues like mice and ants. Therefore, I think they are beneficial to people rather than harming them. In my opinion, I think that snakes should be protected because overall they do more good than bad. However, the general consensus is that they are a frightening animal that should be steered clear from.
