In my opinion parents reciting books to their children helps in a lot of ways. Firstly, it can increase fluency in speaking of the children from a very young age as they can mimic their parents tone, given that their parents also speak fluently. Other than that, the children will also learn grammar, punctuations and speaking structure from their parents also by mimicking it.
