Band 7+: Are there many big companies in your country?

Your pronunciation is very good. Aim to refine subtleties and intonation to further improve.

The answer stays on topic and provides relevant examples of large companies in the country, which directly addresses the question. It also includes some general discussion about their contributions, such as employment and international partnerships, which is appropriate for Part 3. However, the response could be more fully developed by elaborating on the broader economic or social impact of these companies, and by avoiding the somewhat vague opening phrase 'it depends on the current situation,' which does not add substantive information. To improve, consider providing a more comprehensive overview of the presence of big companies, perhaps mentioning different sectors or the overall economic landscape, while maintaining a general perspective.

The answer is coherent and logically organized, with a clear introduction, examples, and a concluding result. However, the opening phrase 'it depends on the current situation' is vague and not fully developed, which slightly weakens the overall coherence. To improve, you could directly state 'Yes, there are many' or 'There are several' and then elaborate. Additionally, the use of cohesive devices like 'For instance' and 'As a result' is appropriate, but the flow could be smoother with fewer pauses or filler phrases.

You use a good range of vocabulary, including terms like 'large corporations,' 'well known,' 'manufactured products,' 'employment prospects,' and 'prosperity.' This shows flexibility and precision. However, some phrases are slightly generic (e.g., 'quite well known,' 'contributions to our society'), and you could enhance the answer with more specific or advanced vocabulary, such as 'multinational conglomerates,' 'economic impact,' or 'global partnerships.' Overall, the lexical resource is strong but not at the highest level of sophistication.

The grammar is largely accurate, with correct use of present simple tense, relative clauses (e.g., 'which are quite well known'), and cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'As a result.' The sentence structures are varied and natural. There are no major errors, but the phrase 'this encourages them to gain recognition' could be slightly ambiguous - 'them' might refer to the companies or the partnerships. To achieve a band 9, ensure all pronouns are clearly referenced and consider using more complex structures, such as conditional or passive forms, to demonstrate a fuller range.
