I still remember when she handed me a picture which was supposed to be our dog Max. Although the picture was absolutely unrecognizable, it was full of imagination and effort. It really showed her personality in those doodles which melted my heart and made me realize how how creative and innovative she is. Lily’s love for art can be seen everywhere, especially in her room. The walls are covered with different, colorful paintings. Each one tells different stories. Some of them show enchanted forests, while some include friendly monsters. What I particularly find fascinating is how she pours her emotions into canvas using a single crayon. Whenever she feels upset or all willful, she spends a great deal of time drawing, which helps her clear her mind and feel better. On weekends she typically invites me to join her what she calls art sessions, usually sit around with paints, brushes and even with glitter is a bit messy of course, but it’s always fun.
