Band 7+: Describe a child who loves drawing or painting

I like to talk about my niece Lily, who is an 8-year-old girl with a strong passion for art. From an early age, she has absolutely adored painting and drawing. I still remember when she handed me a picture that was supposed to be our dog Max. Although the picture was absolutely unrecognizable, it was full of imagination and effort. It really showed her personality in those doodles, which melted my heart and made me realize how creative and innovative she is. Lily's love for art can be seen everywhere, especially in her room. The walls are covered with different, colorful paintings. Each one tells a different story. Some of them show enchanted forests, while others include friendly monsters. What I particularly find fascinating is how she pours her emotions onto the canvas using a single crayon. Whenever she feels upset or willful, she spends a great deal of time drawing, which helps her clear her mind and feel better. On weekends, she typically invites me to join her in what she calls art sessions. We usually sit around with paints, brushes, and even glitter. It’s a bit messy, of course, but it’s always fun. I also try my hand at painting with her; it’s a great experience because she’s never afraid to try new things. She enjoys experimenting with different styles, from vibrant abstract pieces to meticulous watercolors. What I admire most about Lily is her supreme confidence and artistic flair. She’s always proud of herself, no matter how it turns out. In conclusion, Lily is not only talented but also inspiring, and her positive attitude toward creativity reminds me that art should be fun.
