I like to talk about Rome, a city I visited a few years ago and I would absolutely love to go back to. I went there in the summer with my family and we stayed for around five days. It was my first time in Rome so I was really impressed by how much history and culture there was in one place. During our stay we visited some of the city’s most famous landmarks such as the Calaisium the Trevi, Trevi Fountain and the Pampereon. We also spent quite a lot of time simply wandering around the narrow streets and discovering small cafes and restaurants. Of course I couldn’t believe Rome without trying some authentic Italian pizza, pasta and gelato. What I loved Most about Rome was its unique combination of ancient history and modern city life. I found it amazing that she could be walking along a busy street and suddenly come across a building that was hundreds or even thousands of years old. I definitely like to visit Rome again because I feel that I only stretched the surface during my first trip. Next time I’d like to explore the city at a slower pace, visit some less touristy places and spend more time enjoying the local atmosphere. Overall, Rome left a really strong impression on me and it is one of those cities I’d happily we’re starting to.
