I recently got enrolled in a cookery class. It was about the different cooking skills and the chef used to introduce lot of international cuisine and recipes and they will help you to try out many recipes when sit as possible. And our chef who is from Australia visited He visited a hotel in Chennai and the workshop was held in that place. It took us around 15 days. During the time period, during the initial days, the chef explained to us about the basic cooking skills like chopping vegetables as well as how to handle different kinds of kitchen equipment and instruments. In the past few days he taught us very simple dishes how to enhance the taste of the dish by adding simple ingredients and it produced good flavours. He also taught us about different tips and tricks in handling every ingredient as well as vegetables which provided us a lot of knowledge about the skill that we are not aware of for the past few days. He also thought of different cuisine and cooked and showed us whatever they add in that recipe. Other than that he also allowed us to taste the recipe and sometimes he conducts some tests for a period of about 1 hour. He motivates us to try out some innovative recipes with the help of some of the limited ingredients. And he would appreciate our work and he also provided some details about what all mistakes we have done in that work and it helped us to improve that and at the end of the class we got some adequate knowledge about different type of continental foods and we became familiar with our native foods and during the kukri classes he used to crack some jokes and it It was a fun filled day and sharing things with the neighbours and as well as inventing different dishes was so enjoyable and it was such a memorable kind of workshop which I attended in my lifetime.
