So I had ordered a collection of books and when they arrived, I was really disappointed to see that one of the books had a torn cover. I sent them a message and took photos of the damaged book explaining the issue. Honestly, I did not expect them to even acknowledge their mistake but I was pleasantly surprised when the customer service team responded immediately and was very polite. The person I was corresponding with apologized profusely and assured me that he would look into the matter immediately. I was really relieved because I did not think that they would replace just one book but they did even better than that. Within a week, I received a replacement copy of the damaged book and it was in perfect condition. But what was even better was that they let me keep a copy of my original book which I think was a really nice gesture on their part. In the end, I was really satisfied by how they dealt with my complaint. They not only replaced my book super quickly but also made me feel valued as a customer. This experience made me realize that sometimes speaking up about an issue can also lead to a good thing and it has given me more confidence about online shopping.
