I was intrigued to find that Indians were one of the oldest civilizations in the planet. I was born and raised in India. So it was fascinating to learn how this nation became what it is now, how it evolved into what we see now. You see, before the colonial conquest, India held 25% of global GDP and these chapters in these modules discussed how India became one of the richest land in the planet. Why were all these European powers and Arabs interested in India? What attracted them to this subcontinent? That was the main concept that this module dealt with.
