I would like to discuss about an idea that I had when I was studying my bachelor’in, the information technology in my first year of college. I had mathematics as a subject, which I found very daunting because I was not able to solve complex problems. I even thought that these problems are made not to solve. Only, uh, I discussed if it with my elder sister, as she belongs from the same educational background. Um, and she offered a helping end and taught me, um, taught me some basic concepts of maths in a very fun way, in terms of games, in terms of puzzles. From there only I thought that this approach should be incorporated in uh, our education system, at least in my college. So I discussed this, um, so I had an idea of organizing a math Olympic where problems are given in terms of uh, puzzles, in terms of games. I propose this idea to my teachers, to my professors and college authorities. They all supported it very well. After it, we uh, fixed the date, finalized the venue, u, uh, make the quush paper and the answer key, and uh, decides the jury. After all these preparations, when the event day came, uh, it happened successfully. And after it, they all give me an appreciation because of creating such an event in which the approach has changed from, uh, thinking maths being daunting to the enjoyable subject.
