If my memory serves me well, it was a week before last day’s holiday when I went there with my mother to buy new clothes and some decoration during the festivity. The market was always bustling, especially during big occasions like that. As soon as I step into the entrance, I was squashed by a lot of people. You know the customer were carrying big shopping bags filled with goods like food, clothes or decorations, and the vendors were calling out to the passerby. Looking around, I could see several stores with a variety of products that were typically fortified like peach blossom, colorful lanterns, and special food like cheesecake or sweets. The air at that time was vibrant and bustling, a little bit chaotic. Additionally, the streets in that market were like a maze, very narrow, and packed with many people so I had numerous difficulties moving around. Sometimes I palmed into others. An unforgettable memory for me during this trip was that I got lost because there were so many people around and I lost sight of my mother. Fortunately, she was still able to find me in the end. When we got out of the market, we all felt dog tired. However, it was an intriguing and exciting experience for me because the vibrant and busy atmosphere there was different from the peace and quiet in my neighborhood. I think we will be back there this holiday and I’m looking forward to seeing how it has changed over the years.
