Well, one special event I attended was the Diwali festival, it is known as Festival of Light. It is one of the most important festival celebrated in India. I experienced it in my hometown where the entire community gathered to celebrate the Easter and were decorated with light and almost every house was lit off with candles and lamps. The celebration began with a morning prayer at the temple. In the evening there was a community fresh to its traditional India dishes like sweets and snake. Later people exchange kept trying its fire rocks. The highlight for me was watching children’s excitement while bursting paper flowers. I love this event because of the vibrant energy it brought everyone. It wasn’t just about the light of the festival, festivities but also the sense of togetherness and with the mood the day me were evolved. It remained me of the importance of family, friends and culture, traditional.
