I have watched numerous movies, however only a few have left a lasting impression on me. One of these films that is close to my heart and that I would love to watch it again is The Wall-A of the Wolves. The Wall-A of the Wolves is a popular Turkish series that is originally aired in 2003. It is now for its intense action, deep exploration of Turkish society and in geopolitics. The main character of the movie is Polat Alemdar, portrayed by the famous actor Nezati Şaşmaz. Actually Polat starts as an undercover agent for working for the Turkish National Intelligence Organization. But after receiving an order from his superior, he undergoes facial surgery and enters the Wall-A of the Mafia. His mission is to eliminate the Mafia from the Turkish society. Polat Alemdar is man of his word because throughout his dangerous journey, he faces a lot of struggles and losses. He even loses his parents and friends, but he never gives up. He remains loyal to his mission and his nation. In the end, he successfully completes his task of destroying the Mafia in Turkey. I believe Polat Alemdar is an example of someone who loves his nation more than his family and friends. I watched this series during the summer and it took me about 2 months to finish it. Also, I always watched it with my friend as the storyline is quite complex. If you miss even the one scene, it can be difficult to fully understand as the parts of the plot. See 4, discussing and analyzing the scenes with my friend helped me grasp the deeper meaning of the film. I want to watch this movie again because it taught me valuable lessons such as loving one’s nation and how to respond to another’s show disrespect. Therefore, Wall-A of the Walls is the best movie I have ever seen.
