I have an unusual and quirky habit when I am writing things. I tend to write letters which I do not join up one bit of the letter with the other bit, and for some reason I find it really irritating and actually quite annoying at times, and I'm not sure why. I feel it's absolutely important to join up those parts of the letters. Furthermore, when I'm writing very quickly, I tend to leave these gaps more, and the habit annoys me even more. It becomes extremely excruciatingly irritating at times. However, I try to ignore it because I write so often that it wastes my time to stop and join up those blank gaps that I have in those letters. I do it all the time because I write all the time, and I think I developed it out of a kind of perfectionism, I suppose, which is quite funny given how untidy and scrawling my handwriting can be. But perhaps it was because a student or a teacher said something about this one day when I was young, and somehow this developed a kind of problem in my head where I just made a much bigger deal out of it than I needed to. I find now though that I become better and better at just ignoring it because I have to prioritise other things in my life, and I've had to consciously stop myself worrying about this and becoming anxious because otherwise this anxiety will cause issues and challenges and other problems in my wider life. That's why this habit can be problematic, but I'm not too worried about it.
