Although English is essential for life and available through our door, I would like to learn Spanish. There are a few underlying reasons why I want to learn this language. First of all, I am fanatical about a football club located in Spain. It's Barcelona. I have a dream: one day I will play for this club. That's why, if I want to play for this club, I will have to learn this language, as it plays a vital role in understanding my teammates and engaging with them. It is a necessity. Secondly, I want to be a bilingual person because there is a saying in my country: one person, two languages. That's why I want to be a well-rounded person. Another essential reason for me is that I have watched films and TV shows from Spanish-speaking people. I want to watch them without subtitles or dubbing. Last but not least, the more languages you learn, the easier it is to understand foreign cultures.
