A memorable journey. Although I've undertaken many trips over the years, especially with my family to places like Bulgaria, Slovakia, Italy, and Germany, all of these hold a special place in my heart. I would be talking about the one that I took recently with my friends. I went for a Model UN to New York, which is called the National High School MUN. We traveled there by airplane, of course, because I live in the Middle East, so it was a 16-hour direct flight from Doha, Qatar, to New York. It was really fun, even though people assume that longer flights are hard to sustain. We had Wi-Fi, and I had my friends around me, so we had a lot of fun talking, playing, and discussing what we were going to do there. The journey was memorable because it taught me a lot of things. As a person who always wanted to settle in the US, this trip, living alone in the US with no parents or any other help, just based on me and my friends, opened my eyes to the hardships of living in the US, like taxes, and so on. We had a lot of things to do during the journey. We had the MUN conference for over three days. We also met diplomats from the Bulgarian delegation. We saw a speech by President Joe Biden, who spoke live to us, and it was a memorable experience. Overall, the journey was memorable because I spent the entire trip with my friends, and MUN is something I hold dear to my heart. It felt really nice for the first time traveling to do something that I personally like a lot. There were a lot of important issues, for example, terrorism in Africa, discussed, so it felt like we were part of something bigger. Of course, eating American food, seeing Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, Madame Tussauds, and all the other sightseeing I did, and enjoying late-night movies, late-night talks, sneaking out, playing cards, and roaming around made it a memorable journey for me.
