I’d like to tell you about a place that I visited around two years ago and I haven’t been to ever since. It is Aphrodite’s Rock. It’s located in Limassol. I first visited it during a class trip. It was for a philosophy class actually where we were learning about different Greek mythologies and Aphrodite’s rock was something that heavily related to one topic that we were learning about in class so the teachers thought it would be a good opportunity to actually take us there and show us. It has been said that if you do three turns around Aphrodite’s rock you will either find love or stay beautiful for the rest of your life and this inspired me because I never previously knew that such places could have really deep meaning or interesting stories behind them so ever since then I just took this step to learn more about the Greek mythology especially in Cyprus because there’s a lot of locations in Cyprus where you think that they’re just a beautiful scenery but instead they have stories to tell and there’s so much to them to see more than the naked boy.
