I believe this law is very essential because single use plastics are one of the main cause of environmental pollution in the USA. They block, blocks drain during heavy rains and causing severe water logging in cities like Los Angeles. Additionally, plastic waste ends up in the river or the ocean, herming marine life. By introducing this law, we could significantly reduce the pollutions and protect our natural ecosystem. I also believe that this law would be quite popular among environmentally conscious people. However, some individuals and businesses might find it challenging, adopt at first, particularly those who rely heavily on cheap plastics products. To address these issues, government could run our next campaign such as provides some incentives to use alternate ips. The benefit would be enormous. In the end, it would help clean up our city, reduce drainage problems and protect our world life.
