Given the choice between the two, I would definitely choose magazines over newspapers. While newspapers are a great and convenient source for daily global updates, I find them a bit dry. Whereas magazines are usually visually appealing to me. My interest was developed in magazines as a child. When I saw my elder cousin reading a colorful art book, it reminded me of my art book I used to color at school. Fashion booklets are my favorite amongst all the other types. One of them is Vogue. It is a famous monthly journal which has high quality photography and latest trends. I get to know about upcoming designs, interviews from my favourite celebrities and articles on a variety of topics such as art. I buy the latest edition of Vogue every month and I enjoy reading it on Sundays while sipping my entire evening tea. I sometimes read it with my sisters. I enjoy it specifically because it helps me to escape my daily tyrants routine, gives me updates on new lifestyle ideas and inspirations for my wardrobe. To wrap it up, I would prefer spending my time reading a digest than a newspaper.
