The exams were very significant as it would decide my future and whether I could get into my dream high school. I began preparing seriously about a year before exams. During the summer holiday, I registered for several math and English classes to improve my skills. I had to wake up early every day, follow a street schedule and study from morning until evening with very little rest. In the evenings, I focused on self-study, reviewing my lessons to remember key knowledge and listening to explanation of challenging concepts. The subject I focused on the most was English. As I wasn’t very good at it before, preparing for the exams was stressful and there were sometimes when I feel like giving up. However, the pressure motivated me to stay focused and work hard. I also managed my stress by taking short breaks, hanging out with the close friend and listening to music to relax. In the end, all the effort paid off. I passed the entrance exam and were accepted into my dream high school. This experience was challenging but rewarding as it touched me valuable lessons and time management. Thanks to that this journey, I not only achieved my goal but also became more mature.
