Back in college, I remember by heart there was an experience that I had a chance to work in a team that we needed to deliver our final dissertation before graduation. Back then I had a chance to lead a team of four people including Kea who is now a close friend of mine and we were assigned to finish the project in less than four months and back then even though I was a leader of the team given direction, most of the people in my team behaved in a very different way. However, Kea is the one that stood out as a good team member. Specifically, she was assigned to do the visualization of the entire dissertation and before in order for her to deliver her role, we needed to consolidate all kinds of information and research and then proof her in detail so that she can plan out the entire structure of the presentation. And given the experience, the two reasons that I found like enjoy working with Kea. So first of all, she’s a very supportive team player. Sure, she didn’t actually limit her role of being the person who works on the presentation herself but she’s trying to offer support to the other team members when during times of necessity. For example, another team member was struggling to find details into a particular topic but she already branched out and offered help. Second of all, she was the one who keeps up with her deadlines and commitment. Whenever she was assigned with a particular milestone, she always delivered it before the deadline which is very helpful for the team.
