It's been a long time since I received a piece of advice a couple of years ago when I dropped out of school. I had a lot of time to have fun or learn something new, but I didn't know what would be helpful for me in the future. My father told me I should learn English and take an exam so that I could move abroad. At first, I thought I wouldn't use this advice because I had forgotten the basics, and even worse, I felt shy and embarrassed when I spoke in front of people because I didn't know grammar rules and prepositions. After a while, I joined an English academy to boost my confidence. Finally, I gradually felt confident because I could speak, and at least the speaker could understand what I was saying. Afterwards, I realized that I couldn't quit learning English. Overall, I believe that learning new skills really helps you in the future.
